Laser pointer too complicated for partner at Skadden
Skadden is one of (if not the) largest, most prestigious law firms in the world. Getting hired there basically means you went to a top five law school. It's the biggest of the big leagues. So I was more than a little surprised to read that a partner at the firm couldn't figure out how to work a laser pointer.
It wasn't just time lines that caused confusion. Nolan's opening encountered some technological glitches. Quinn offered his opposing counsel a laser pen to point to exhibits on a screen. "I don't even know how to work it," the Skadden partner said after a few failed attempts at operating the device.
